I just got to work today and sitting on my desk was a package from Japan, with a return address to Ibaraki… and above it was the name of one of my best friends!
I didn’t ask him to send me anything, so I was wondering what it could be. I opened it up to find that he sent me two books to help study for this year’s Japanese Language Proficiency Test, N2!
I took the equivalent last year (back when it was called 2Kyuu) and I missed it by a narrow 3 or 4 percent. I’ve been studying like a fiend since then (we all know I don’t go down without a fight) and I was even thinking recently that I should go online and hunt down some new books to help prepare for the newly revised version of the test. It’s like he read my mind!
I guess I should really get cracking now and hit the books. I’ve still got about 5 and a half months to take down this test, so lets see what I can do! I’ll keep you posted.
Well, that’s it. That’s one astounding act of friendship if I do say so myself.
Thank you Katsuya! I don’t know what I’d do without you!
